Hotel Patios de San Telmo is a beautiful boutique hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The hotel features an interesting mix of the historic and modern sides of Buenos Aires with its great architecture and featured art works. It is located in the interesting neighbourhood of San Telmo and close to many of the best attractions in the city.
Hotel Staff and Hotel Facilities
Hotel Patios de San Telmo is a mix of old and new which truly captures the beauty of Buenos Aires. The hotel was a building made over a hundred years ago and renovated to capture the remarkable architecture of its time. Modern elements were added to the design to update its function into a hotel. Today, the hotel appeals to many travellers and offers great service and modern comforts to its guests. The hotel features a swimming pool and several patios that truly open up the hotel spaces and makes it stand out among the rest. The hotel also has its own library and art gallery. Inside the hotel there are different art pieces and sculptures that make the place very interesting.
The friendly staff speaks very good English and were always there to assist us when we have questions. The reception is open 24 hours a day and luggage service is also available. Wifi is strong everywhere in the hotel and probably the best we’ve had anywhere else in Argentina.
Hotel Room and Amenities
Hotel Patios de San Telmo offers 30 rooms located in three different stories. There are three room categories depending on your preference: economic, standard and superior. All rooms have a minibar, air conditioner, 32 inch LCD television with cable channels, wifi, safe, hairdryer and rain shower in the bathrooms. All the rooms have a great view overlooking the patios.
We stayed in a twin room in the first floor. The wooden elements in the room from the header board of the bed to the high ceiling were beautiful. The minimalist design of the room makes for a great and comfortable stay. We really loved it.
A Delicious Buffet Breakfast at Telmo Deli
Telmo Deli is the restaurant at Hotel Patios de San Telmo. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available here including vegetarian and gluten-free meals. The small cafe has charming decorations and offers a relaxing atmosphere perfect for any time of day. During our stay at Hotel Patios de San Telmo, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Telmo deli each day. The breakfast buffet included different pastries, scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, butter, jam and dulce de leche. There is also a good selection of drinks like coffee, tea, juice and lemon water. Yogurt, milk, cereal and fruits are also provided.

Hotel Patios de San Telmo is located in the San Telmo district, on Calle Chacabuco. The hotel is walking distance to many attractions of Buenos Aires like Plaza de Mayo, Puerto Madero and the famous Sunday Market in San Telmo District. It is also very close to the Avenida Independencia where you can take the train to the other districts of Buenos Aires like Recoleta and Palermo. We really liked the location of this hotel which is also close to supermarkets, bars and restaurants.
